Vaginal infection

About 3% of women experience a vaginal infection at some point. In a large proportion of these cases, vaginitis (inflammation) or bacterial vaginosis is the cause. The symptoms are usually easy to treat. A vaginal infection can be caused by, for example, a hormonal imbalance, an STD, a yeast infection or a bacterial condition.
