Origin of Women's Healthcare Center

Women's Healthcare Center has an inspiring history that dates back to 1980. It started with the work of Frank Kho gynecologist np, in the outpatient clinic of the Luthers Diakonesse Hospital (LDI) and the Juliana Hospital (JZ) in 1979. After the merger of these hospitals and the establishment of the BovenIJ Hospital in Amsterdam Noord, Women's Healthcare Center flourished into an outpatient clinic from 1987 onwards.

The vision of Women's Healthcare Center and its founder

Frank Kho, gynecologist np, the visionary founder of Women's Healthcare Center, has brought the clinic to life with determination and passion. From its start as an outpatient clinic to its recognition as an independent treatment center (ZBC) in 2007, his dedication has laid the foundation for one of the Netherlands' leading women's healthcare specialists.

Growth and recognition

Women's Healthcare Center Amsterdam is now an established name, where quality, personal specialist guidance, and high patient satisfaction are paramount. Patients are referred by general practitioners, fellow specialists and health insurers because of our dedication to high-quality women's care.

Royal distinction

A special highlight was the Royal distinction that gynaecologist Frank Kho, gynecologist np, received on 26 April 2017. In recognition of his dedication and personal involvement in the treatment and guidance of his patients, he was knighted in the Order of Orange-Nassau. This is a true honour for the founder and a recognition of his life's work in women's care. The entire team of Women's Healthcare Center is proud of this recognition.
