Waiting times
Within Women's Healthcare Center, rapid diagnosis is an important goal. Below you will find an overview of the waiting times. In addition, we comply with the mandatory format of the Dutch Healthcare Authority, which allows us to compare placements between hospitals.
Information obligation and possibility of waiting list mediation
If you experience the waiting time as too long for an appointment with a specialist, you can contact us or your health insurer for waiting list mediation. Your health insurer can help you to be helped more quickly. The agreement between health insurers and care providers stipulates that the maximum waiting time for treatment may be 7 weeks.
Waiting times for outpatient clinics
This concerns the time that elapses between making an appointment and the actual first appointment with a specialist at the consultation hour for an outpatient treatment, procedure or examination. We measure the number of days from the moment of appointment until the moment that you can see the specialist at the outpatient clinic.
If you have to wait longer than the established waiting standards, you can discuss this with your treating physician or you can contact your health insurer and inquire about the possibilities for care mediation for the elderly. The locations within Wwomen's Healthcare Center are not dependent on where you are insured.
