Origin of pelvic pain

Pelvic pain is often caused by incorrect posture, unexpected movements, wear and tear of the cartilage and injuries sustained during sports. A hip prosthesis can also cause various complaints. When these complaints occur, movements often become increasingly difficult, resulting in pain in the pelvis. Due to the immense pain that comes with this, it can be so that functioning in daily life is experienced as difficult. Woman's Healthcare is happy to help you combat these complaints.

Pelvic pain and pregnancy

Pelvic pain during and/or after pregnancy is common. The uterus is surrounded by joints, muscles and ligaments of the pelvis. In this way, a natural position is formed in which the unborn baby can lie comfortably, and can also move and grow. In case of pelvic pain, tension can arise in the basket of the unborn baby. The space for movement for both mother and unborn baby becomes smaller, which can cause various complaints.
