Menstrual complaints

Menstruation is often accompanied by various complaints. Some women have little to no complaints during their menstruation, while other women suffer a lot from their menstrual complaints. Women often think that they have to accept the complaints and that there is nothing they can do about it. Severe menstrual cramps

There are various menstrual complaints that you can suffer from. The most common complaint is abdominal pain, which can radiate to the legs and back. This is because the uterus contracts so hard that there is a lack of oxygen. This causes the pain. Other common complaints are:

  • Headache
  • Intestinal problems
  • Fatigue
  • Bad sleep
  • Craving for certain foods
  • Irritable

PMS

It is also possible that you are suffering from PMS. If the symptoms last longer than three weeks, you may be suffering from premenstrual syndrome. Characteristic of this is that it comes back every month in a pattern. The symptoms that are associated with PMS are:

  • Severe headache or menstrual migraine
  • Irritability and mood swings
  • Bloated feeling
  • Anxiety or depressive feelings
  • Sore breasts
